Demonstrating the ROI in People, Programs, and Projects
Patti P. Phillips, Ph.D., CEO, ROI Institute, Inc.
Given the current economic circumstances, the complexity of organizations and the communities they serve, the need to demonstrate the value of our people, programs, and projects has never been greater. But reporting ROI in isolation of other measures of performance is insufficient. To fully describe the value that investments bring to an organization–and to increase that value, requires quantitative, qualitative, financial, and non-financial data. This session will show you how to use a proven framework to demonstrate the impact and ROI of major programs and projects.
After attending this session, participants should be able to:
- Describe the framework used to demonstrate the value that matters, including ROI.
- Use the alignment model to position programs for success.
- Identify methods and techniques that make ROI work.
Tools, templates, job aids, and a chapter from the book ROI Basics, 2nd Edition, will be provided to participants who attend this session.
